expect later today. >> a source tells cnn that penn state will be hit with fines of more than $30 million. that could just be the beginning. also espn says that sources say that penn state could also be hit with a loss of bowl games and a loss of scholarships. that would be a big blow to a current football players. another twist to the story, yesterday the university president of penn state ordered the statue of joe paterno to be taken down for good. sources say penalties against penn state are likely to include not only heavy fines but also a significant loss of scholarships and a loss of multiple bowl games. several sources tell espn that penn state will not receive the death penalty that would have suspended the football program completely for least a year. meanwhile, the 900 pound bronze statue of longtime football coach joe paterno was removed from outside the campus stadium yesterday. penn state's president said the statue became a source of division and an obstacle. now is being stored in a secure location. >> i cannot believe they would take such extreme measures to take it down.

: this cell phone video shows some of the chaos as people left the theater, some covered in blood. cnn reported at least one baby was wounded and several children, police say they have arrested the suspect, described as an adult male in his early 20s. heavily armed and heavily armored. but police believe that he was acting alone. >> the suspect was in custody. made statements about possible explosives at his residence and we're dealing with explosives that they're inside there. also explosives in the parking lot. >> reporter: survivors and witnesses have been taken to an triage center at a local high school. and that suspect, when he was arrested told police about those explosives. they have evacuated the entire apartment building. as bomb squads investigate that. this is going to be a massive investigation and it's just getting start, george? >> clayton, so much premeditation there. >> he knew it was going to be packed and he knew how to create chaos. people not knowing if it was in the movie or actually happening in this theater. people were capturing the chilly and the bloody chaos
